Today’s Daily Post topic is: What would you do with a million dollars?
Being a dog trainer and a musher, the chance of me ever seeing a million dollar balance in my bank account is what dreams are made of.
Having a family so small that we don’t even show up on a ancestry.com search also means I highly doubt I will inherit that much…
Cash
paper
dough
green
coin
folding stuff
dosh
lolly
spondullas
dead presidents
clams
moolah
bread
So I am just happy to have a little walkin’ around money:
Bill to Karl:
“Well, I’m gonna pay you today for this comin’ week, so you’ll have some walkin’ around money. When you get off this evenin’ you better go buy some toothpaste and cleanin’ up supplies to have back there. Some hard candy and some magazines. Somethin’ to keep you busy at night.”
Heck, there is even a story that my grandpa used to tell me about how Dave Thomas–you know the guy that founded Wendy’s–saved all the pennies he could and when his daughter, who happened to be WENDY, was 16 he took a truck (bed) full of pennies down to the local car dealer and bought her first car.
Sadly, a truck full of pennies only equals about $2700.00
What would you do with a million dollars? Inquiring minds would like to know— mainly the IRS.
