Images from the greatest generation: 1980s

February 19, 2011

Daily Post, Pop Culture

I am a firm believer that you should never live in the past but how in the world can we not showcase the greatest decade in American (pop culture) history–the 1980’s?

Today I share some of our favorite images from the decade that changed everything:

How we passed our time before Playstation rocked the world!

The shoes we wore to look ‘cool’. Fat shoelaces and all

Because board games were so BORING!

Our favorite heroes of Sunday night in Prime Time!

The ‘look’ that defined a generation: Feathered hair, jean jackets and acid wash

Way before Avatar…

The band of all bands: The Flock of Seagulls

And Lastly….

Ronald Reagan the man that saved us all from a 1000 years of Darkness.

Did he invent the Internet or was that Al Gore?
