Snow…

Alaska, Daily Post, Fortos Fort

un-used dog houses in the dog yard

Yes it is true, we have had a snowy winter in Willow, Alaska. Not quite as much as the folks in Valdez and Cordova to the southeast of us on Prince William Sound. But we have had our fair share for sure.

Today, Tyler and I ventured out on the snow machine in -22 degrees to make sure the trails were in for the dog teams and not too many moose holes or wind blown drifts.

Do you know how cold -22 degrees is going 25 to 30 miles per hour? It’s dang cold!

Here are a few pictures to show our friends.

Please let me know what you think.
