Do you believe in ghosts?
It was 1:30 AM last night as I headed upstairs to bed. I followed as my pup, Raegan, lead the way (how’s that for pack leadership?).
As soon as she reached the bedroom she jumped up on the bed and let out a series of guttural barks. Her hackles were raised to the hilt and she had that; I’m scared here, dad, look about her.
The room was freezing cold, at least 30 degrees and the window above my bed was open at least four inches.
I know for an absolute fact that I have not had that window open in months and the latch was locked tight.
It took a few minutes for Reagan to stop barking and I eventually got her off the bed. I closed the window and turned the TV on finding one of my favorite movies–Raising Arizona–and tried to get to sleep.
Maybe it has an easy explanation
Maybe it doesn’t.
One thing is for sure I will take the advice of the little old lady, Dianne, from Poltergeist and–
Carol Anne – listen to me. Do NOT go into the light. Stop where you are. Turn away from it. Don’t even look at it.
Have you ever seen a ghost?
